Message Im curious if people that are installing them on there Z's are letting the car down on the ground before tightning up the bolts on the front bracket. Even with stock rods if you dont let the car weight settle on the rods allowing the suspension to settle and even out it will tear the new bushings over time due to the extra twist you get when you lower the car down. They are only made to twist so much. Now with a even stiffer bushing that gives less you are really putting alot of tension on that control arm because the bushing wont twist like the factory rubber pieces. If your doing bushings a-arms ect. you need to have the suspension where its going to be with the car on the ground, if not you will twist the new bushings esp. if they are formed to the arm ect. like the factory rubber ones are. When you let the car down all that twist/movment is taken by the bushing itself putting it in a bind and will eventually rin the new bushing. I wonder if thats what is causing the failure in the control arms? Improper installation?
